The Fraternal Order of Classy Gentlemen: Sigma Rhomeo Inc., also known as Rhomeos, was founded on the campus of Prairie View A&M University on March 24, 1980. The Rhomeos was founded on brotherhood, scholarship, and service principles; these values still guide the organization today.  The organization sought to promote chivalry and gentlemanly conduct among its members and to encourage academic excellence. In addition, Sigma Rhomeo also aimed to provide its members with opportunities for social and intellectual growth. The Fraternal Order of Classy Gentlemen (F.O.C.G.): Sigma Rhomeo Incorporated is a unique organization whose members are proud to carry on its tradition of excellence.  The fraternity has produced many engineers, businessmen, academics, military members, and entrepreneurs. By the mid-1990s, F.O.C.G. had incorporated itself and continued to grow and strive for success. The organization is made up of multicultural men from all walks of life.
